"To succeed and stay relevant in a rapidly-changing job market, you need to reinvent yourself again and again."

I came across this valuable piece of advice from historian Yuval Noah Harari years ago, and it has resonated with me ever since. Looking back at my journey, both personally and professionally, I can clearly see how my ability to be flexible, adapt, and remain unfazed in the face of change has benefitted me over the years.

​

I've had the fortune to call four different countries my home - each unique, with its own distinct culture and language. The significant milestones in my enriching journey have included my family's move to Germany when I was a child, my relocation to the UK for university and a subsequent career in higher education marketing, and a wonderful transition to motherhood in Italy a decade ago, where I also pivoted into content creation.

So, how do we navigate life's seismic shifts and transform them into stepping stones toward success? In my case, these qualities have proven indispensable:

Determination. I live by the creed, "If you really want something, you'll find a way to make it happen." No fuss, no excuses, no complaints.

Resilience. Obstacles may knock me off my path, but I will get back on it. Every single time.

​

Curiosity. For those naturally inquisitive, knowledge is at our fingertips. I learn something new every single day.

Self-awareness. Regular self-reflection and a firm understanding of my strengths allow me to keep my focus where it counts the most.

Passion. Simply put, I do what I love and I love what I do.
